Red Bull approached me to design a physical logo for their Music Academy. To be used for their events and concerts in Finland. The bulls shape mimics mountains, more specifically the ones found in the most northern parts of scandinavia. At the same time the topography fits into the anatomy of the bull. Designed and completed in August 2014 for it's debut at the Flow Festival at Suvilahti. Special thanks to Arto Tuisku and his CNC - router.
In 2010 I wanted to build a place of my own. I found this beautiful slot and I set out to design a compact get-away for myself. I also wanted to maximize this small space, use local/recycled materials and build it myself.
In june that summer I started building my cabin. It took me two weeks to build it (only thing missing was the door and window which arrived a week later).
The angle and size of the window gives the interior a lot of natural light, you can even admire the stars during the night. I wanted to welcome in the beautiful surrounding. On the first floor I have a lounge area with a micro-kitchen. The 2nd story loft is for sleeping and storage. All the materials are local or recycled and carried to the spot by hand to keep the nature untouched. When I was done with it I named it Nido (italian for 'birds nest').
You can purchase the plans via the store!

Fafa's is a healthy fast-food restaurant chain that started small and has quickly grown into the most successful falafel chain in Finland. I've done all the artwork for each location in the past 6 years. They haven't been redone so you can see my evolution over the years in each location.

The Homegrow Plate is a new kind of watering system. The plate works naturally without electricity. It offers a variety of options for the user. With the plate your can germinate plants, grow edible plants and even grow moss. The water moves by capillary action without electricity, so you can place your plate anywhere. Your imagination is the limit.
The plate is manufactured in Finland. With high-quality material solutions to ensure a durable and timeless elegant look. The Plate is made out of porcelain combined with a nano-fabric. The nano-fabric mimics the tree barks hygroscopic properties, a effective capillarity action combined with the air pockets will ensure that the plants are properly hydrated.
I designed the Plate for GreenHouseEffect Oy

These images where a part of a campaign for Lundia where they gave me free hands to style their Lundia 'Classic' shelf. These images were a part of Lundia's recent rebranding. The three images had 3 different themes to display my passions: Motorcycles, fly-fishing / the great outdoors and my job as a designer. All images were shot in my Helsinki apartment by photographer Staffan Sundström.

Shot for surf camp 'I Love Waves'. Kalle Carranza's (Former Pro-surfer/Patagonia Ambassador) and Yoga Teacher Eva Estlander's hosted surf and yoga camp in the stunning bay of Sayulita, Mexico. We ended up with a large set of photos and videos from this slice of paradise. Used to design their digital presence and identity.

Shellbeat was my winning entry in a design competition. The task was to design a foldable product from the recyclable Priplak plastic. I came up with this phone speaker that works like an old-fashioned gramophone. It improves the sound and volume and is a great accessory for picnics, hikes and similar situations when you don't want to bring your boombox.
'Chalky Robinson' is an alias I use when Im doing chalk signs or murals. It all stared out when I did the street sign for a local cafe (Johan & Nyström) each morning back in 2011, I did close to 130 signs. Later I've gotten the chance to do bigger and bigger pieces. I mainly work with chalk but I'll do the odd marker piece from time to time.
La Patrona is a modern mexican restaurant in the heart of Helsinki. They've taken the traditional street dishes to the cold north and given it a playful and modern twist.
In the fall of 2011 I was asked to design the murals for the walls of the restaurant. A mexican version of the last supper behind the bar, candy skull chefs and flying tacos. I did logos, street signs and bar stools as well.
